Focus
As a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) charterholder, I assist with the management of PIM portfolios, focusing on financial analysis, security selection, trading and performance review. Drawing on my analytical skills, I assist clients with complex wealth planning issues like tax-efficient investment management, estate planning strategies, employer sponsored retirement plans, institutional asset management.
Background and experience
My educational background includes earning my Masters of Science from the University of Vermont and my undergraduate Bachelor of Science from Humbolt State University.
Prior to beginning my financial services career, I worked for the National Wildlife Federation as a Senior Policy Advisor in Washington, DC on issues related to wildlife and energy projects. I also worked at Ceres, Inc. as a Senior Program Manager where I worked with institutional investors on incorporating environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues into their investment decision-making.
I became a Financial Advisor and earned my CFA® because of my interest in the financial markets and my desire to help people plan for and reach their financial goals. I enjoy my relationships with our clients and blend my analytical skills with an ability to explain complex financial concepts in a straightforward manner and help clients achieve their goals.

As a CFP holder, my primary role is to develop, implement and review successful wealth plans for our clients. I also assist with the management of our client experience, aligning our services with our clients’ unique preferences as well as aligning our community involvement with our shared values.
Background and experience
I started my career selling investment quality art in Aspen, Colorado. While working in the art world I saw many parallels between what I was doing and being a Financial Advisor, including honesty, integrity, creating meaningful relationships with clients and helping them make prudent financial decisions. What I found missing in the art world was the ability to make meaningful impacts on people’s lives. This led me to ultimately transition into financial services where I love being able to have that meaningful impact on our clients’ lives.
My educational background includes earning my Bachelor of Arts in art history with a minor in philosophy from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Master of Arts degree in contemporary art theory and business from Sotheby’s Institute of Art.
Away from the office
Before beginning my professional career, I was a semi-professional road cyclist living and racing in Belgium. I continue to pursue my passion for athletics and competition by training and competing in ultra-marathon running. I am also involved in our community and serve on the Albuquerque Museum Foundation Board and coach my children’s cross country and track teams. My wife and I have two children and live in Albuquerque, NM.
Focus
I became a Financial Advisor to make a difference with each one of my clients as I help plan for their financial goals. I treat each client as an individual and take great interest in their personal values and priorities so I am able to build an investment plan to help them achieve their vision of the future.
Background and experience
My educational background includes earning my Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in accounting in 2015 and a Bachelors of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of New Mexico in 2013.
I have also earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, or CFP® professional certification which includes demonstrating skill in analyzing and developing personal long-term financial strategies, insurance planning and risk management, employee benefits planning and retirement and estate planning. To earn my CFP® I completed hundreds of hours of rigorous course work and examinations and I must adhere to the CFP® Board’s Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility.
Now as a Financial Advisor I take an educational approach to helping my clients with planning strategies to help them understand the mechanics of their plan so they can pursue their interests and passions with confidence.
